Working integratively means I draw on a range of approaches, but it also means I’ll adapt my approach according to what you’re bringing with you into the therapy space, and who you are as a person.
I believe in the power of the past and think there’s something profound about the way our early childhood experiences and relationships tends to shape our lives. We often repeat behaviours that were unconsciously established in these early years, many of which can be destructive. Part of the way I work is to bring consciousness to these past wounds so that we have the choice to free ourselves from them.

But as powerful as these historical patterns are, I’m aware that nothing is ultimately healed in the past. Things can only be worked through in the present and it’s only through the therapeutic relationship that we establish and the relationships you create and maintain in your life that change can be brought about.
I see a key part of my role as helping you unlock the knowledge and resources that you already possess so you can live as full a life as possible, whatever that means to you.
